The book was first published in 1986. This is one of the most thorough works, which was written at a time when not only in the former Soviet Union but also in many Western countries, even the very fact of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine was not recognized. The study comprehensively reveals the truth about the genocide against the Ukrainian people, primarily its artificiality and planning by the Soviet totalitarian regime.
