The collection contains the memories of eyewitnesses of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 and the mass man-made famine of 1946-1947 in the Sumy region, collected by pupils and student youth, as well as their teachers within as a part of the project “Holodomor in the memory of the people”. The book is intended for teachers, students, scholars, and anyone interested in the history of Ukraine.
