The film is based on a previously unknown archival documents, memories of the Holodomor witnesses, including those who lived near the frontier with Russia (Kharkiv and Donetsk regions), and on the comments of leading researchers. The focus of the film is aimed at collecting the evidence proving genocidal nature of the Holodomor.
